Whether you’re picking up a crochet hook for the first time or looking to expand your skills, this course will guide you step by step. Each lesson introduces new techniques and projects, helping you build confidence as you learn. You’ll work with different types of yarn, learn to read simple crochet patterns, create 3D amigurumi, and make beautiful handmade projects of your own.

Overview of lessons by level
Level 1: Bookmark
This lesson is designed for complete beginners who are just starting their crochet journey. You’ll learn how to choose the right yarn and crochet hook, master the basics of holding the hook, and gain confidence with your very first crochet project.
What you will learn:
- Basic crochet theory and material preparation
- Techniques of the chain stitch, slip stitch, and single crochet
- How to correctly count stitches and turn your work
- Basics of orientation in crochet work
What you'll do:
You’ll create your own crocheted bookmark to take home. If time allows, you can personalise it with a simple crochet embellishment, such as a flower or a heart.
Level 2: Amigruni Animal
In this lesson, you’ll learn the basics of amigurumi – the crochet technique used to create cute animals, characters, and other 3D projects. You’ll learn how to shape your work and confidently follow a beginner-friendly crochet pattern.
What you will learn:
- How to make magic circle
- Crochet into circle
- Increasing and decreasing stitches to shape your project
- The basics of reading crochet patterns and abbreviations
What you will do:
- You’ll create your own small amigurumi animal, choosing from a selection of beginner-friendly designs.
Level 3: Granny Square
The granny square is one of the most iconic and versatile crochet motifs. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to crochet your own granny squares, experiment with colour combinations, and join them together to create larger projects such as blankets, bags, and even garments.
What you will learn:
- How to crochet basic granny square
- How to work with double crochet stitches
- How to change colours as you crochet
- How to join granny squares together
What you'll do:
- You’ll crochet one or two granny squares in the colours of your choice and learn how to join them together to create larger projects.
Level 4: Crochet Bag or Basket
In this workshop, you’ll put your crochet skills into practice by creating your own stylish bag or decorative basket. You’ll learn techniques for larger projects while making a beautiful handmade piece to take home
What you will learn:
- How to plan and complete a larger crochet project
- How to size and crochet a base to fit your project
- How to adjust the size of your project to suit your needs
- How to create a sturdy, well-shaped crochet project
- How to add handles, straps, and finishing details
What you will do:
- Vyrobíš si vlastní taštičku, pouzdro na telefon nebo košík v barvách podle svého výběru. Hotový výrobek si odneseš domů a budeš ho moci rovnou používat.
